Our Story
At GreenSapio Tech Pvt Ltd, our journey began from the fields of a small town called Jhajjar situated in the Indian state of Haryana. We stood at the edge of harvested farmland, watching clouds of smoke rise from burning crop residue. That moment changed everything for us. To the world this was a waste but to us, it was a possibility! This is a very personal journey for us. It’s a humble attempt at building a world where nature and design thrive side by side.
Our Aim
We always wanted to make a difference as people deeply driven by our love for nature. This is what birthed GreenSapio - a brand born from the earth, guided by innovation, and committed to protecting our planet. Our vegan leather is proof that the environment does not have to pay the price for our luxury. Our aim is to provide an eco-friendly alternative to leather which in turn also helps us in protecting our environment by addressing a very critical issue of stubble burning.
What is GreenSapio Vegan Leather?
The leather that we produce is made sustainably using agricultural waste materials, primarily rice & wheat straw.

As CEO of Green Sapio, he leads the company’s strategic vision, operations, investor relations, and financial execution. Tarun brings a deep command over business forecasting, operational planning, digital transformation, and scaling sustainable enterprises, making him instrumental in positioning Green Sapio as a category-defining player in India’s vegan leather ecosystem.
Himanshu Sisodia
Co-Founder, Sales & Market Expansion
Himanshu Sisodia brings over 17 years of entrepreneurial experience in textile manufacturing and global retail. As founder of Cric Studio Inc., he built a successful international business with stores across Canada, UK, and Australia. At Green Sapio, he leads revenue generation, B2B partnerships, and customer acquisition strategies. His insights into supply chains, product-market alignment, and brand-building are critical to Green Sapio’s domestic and export-focused market entry.
Shikha Pandey
Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
A Chartered Accountant with a 12+ years of experience in finance and consulting, Shikha Pandey oversees Green Sapio’s financial governance, capital deployment, and compliance functions. She has led finance operations at Epicure Vimbri Foods and served as Partner at KPMR & Associates, managing complex audits, financial controls, and strategic finance. At Green Sapio, she ensures financial discipline and fund efficiency, supporting rapid and sustainable scale-up of the company’s operations.
